You softly pad through the grounds of an old cathedral, willows stooping low to brush your shoulders and boughs of apples weighed heavy with fruit. Moss and damp grass curl around your feet, as you follow the trickling song of dripping rainwater, wading between wooden pews with the scent of some long-cindered holy wood pricking your nose between hints of lush lilac, violet, and iris. Is that a roughly carved face peering out from between stone arches, or were you simply imagining it?
