Heir Personal Fragrance

I worked in the beauty industry for several years — professionally trained in the construct of fragrance notes, how to layer for longevity, and wore several of the top lines (Chanel, Lancome, Dior, etc).

So when I say this fragrance outperformed them all in longevity, quality, and overall usage, I mean that with every ounce of my experience. It'd come to the point where I stopped buying perfumes because of how often they'd need to be reapplied, even though they weren't designed to fade (my body chemistry is weird). Heir, and BibliOddities, COMPLETELY CHANGED THE GAME.

This scent in particular evokes a classic feel of (as my mother put it when she smelled me as I walked by) "1970s Chicago", all marble and ironwork encased in gold filigree details where shopping was and still is an elite experience along the lakeshore. The smoky undertones shifts that downtown imagery to the deep woods, the sort of earthy escape around the bonfire in a late summer/early autumn. And even though this is MY perfume and I have zero intentions of sharing, my stepdad is actually curious to try it on because it really IS unisex — and that's difficult to find!

I'm now on a mission to Collect Them All, if not for the scents themselves, for the gorgeous packaging and experience of opening up a bit of magic in an otherwise mundane world.

The item arrived quickly and beautifully packaged. I had a minor issue when placing my order, but the seller went above and beyond to solve it in a polite and prompt manner. My order came with all sorts of fun little goodies and Heir smells like crisp, dynamic power featuring my fav, bergamot. I will be wearing this scent frequently and referring all my friends to Biblioddities. I love supporting a trans-owned business and I hope I can work with them on a custom scent for my own book one day!

I’ll be honest, I picked this particular fragrance on straight vibes, and the scent isn’t what I usually go for. The longer you smell it, the more layered and complex it becomes, truly androgynous and alluring.
The scent reminds me of when I would find old perfume bottles in my grandmas attic, but with a fresh, smoky tang that’s still nostalgic.
I think I’m on day 3 of having it and I literally had to spray some on after a shower because I missed the scent. The formula feels wonderful on the skin and lasts forever—and doesn’t give me a headache which is a massive bonus.
The packaging was stunning, the artwork was beautiful, and the box could’ve gone to the very fires of Mordor and nothing would break or
open (that tape is stronger than my parent’s relationship)
The only downside is trying to pick which one to treat myself to next!

I bought Heir (and 6 other fragrances) from Biblioddities as soon as they stocked the website - and each one is scrumptious. Every person in my family and friends found a different favorite, for all genders - and this will be a repeat wear in my home!
