this is not your grandmas rose perfume!!! This is an accurate and true representation of “romance” in my book. The smokiness steers this away from a “grandma” rose scent, and keeps it complex while the musk still keeps it classic and dreamy

I wanted to try the Unreliable Narrator scent and it turned out not to be the scent for me; the orange-y citrus smell was just a tad too strong for me personally. HOWEVER, the packaging is A+++++, I adore the website and shipping was quick!

I worked in the beauty industry for several years — professionally trained in the construct of fragrance notes, how to layer for longevity, and wore several of the top lines (Chanel, Lancome, Dior, etc).

So when I say this fragrance outperformed them all in longevity, quality, and overall usage, I mean that with every ounce of my experience. It'd come to the point where I stopped buying perfumes because of how often they'd need to be reapplied, even though they weren't designed to fade (my body chemistry is weird). Heir, and BibliOddities, COMPLETELY CHANGED THE GAME.

This scent in particular evokes a classic feel of (as my mother put it when she smelled me as I walked by) "1970s Chicago", all marble and ironwork encased in gold filigree details where shopping was and still is an elite experience along the lakeshore. The smoky undertones shifts that downtown imagery to the deep woods, the sort of earthy escape around the bonfire in a late summer/early autumn. And even though this is MY perfume and I have zero intentions of sharing, my stepdad is actually curious to try it on because it really IS unisex — and that's difficult to find!

I'm now on a mission to Collect Them All, if not for the scents themselves, for the gorgeous packaging and experience of opening up a bit of magic in an otherwise mundane world.

I have 5 scents from Biblioddities now and cannot get enough! These last ALL day, each one is so unique and genuinely amazing. The experience of opening a package from this shop is incredible in itself. I wish everyone would buy from them.

I opted for the fragrance library, as I'm someone who's not fully educated on what scents they might enjoy quite yet. Getting a variety of scents in small amounts allowed me the freedom to be more experimental and branch out to choices I may not have otherwise selected, or become overwhelm by. While not every scent is going to be a personal favorite, I really have to give a shout-out to Heir, which is now one of my favorite scents of all time, as well as Gorgon and Destined Quest. I think the best aspect of these scents is their longevity—these truly last all day and well into my evening, which is important as I'm someone who does manual labor in a factory for my day job. I also love the ingenuity. Destined Quest makes me smell like I've just cut up a bunch of peppers, which I'm oddly enamored by. Definitely have scents I'm going to come back to from this maker, and I appreciate that I was able to stumble across them. Hopefully, I can even recruit them some day for scents based on my works! I'm eyeing the moment the Ebook scent drops BTW 👀

I absolutely LOVE this perfume!!! It lasts all day, and it smells amazing. It’s hard to describe a smell, but it smells eerie, and it reminds me of horror movies if that makes sense. My husband describes it as a “Smokey licorice”. I will forever be loyal to this perfume.

I really enjoyed these scents! The package was so well wrapped and I really loved the whole aesthetic. The wax seals were such a beautiful touch. As much as I loved the packaging it was far surpassed by the scent inside each bottle! I really loved the wide range of scents included in this order. My family and I made a big deal out of smelling each one and voting on them. The clear winner was enemies to lovers but we liked all the scents and I gave them on a rotation! I can not wait to order more scents and eventually hopefully I can collect them all!

I bought Heir (and 6 other fragrances) from Biblioddities as soon as they stocked the website - and each one is scrumptious. Every person in my family and friends found a different favorite, for all genders - and this will be a repeat wear in my home!

I have been looking for earth toned fragrances for a while and always have a hard time finding ones that aren’t overpowering. I also have sensitive skin that harsh fragrances cause me to break out the next day should I have used on the inside of my wrists or neck. So when I stumbled upon BibliOddities, I was SO excited! There are so many fragrances I now want to try after buying Undead and another called Fantasy.

Both have earth tones but Undead has sweeter notes blended in. It almost reminds me of a brisk night in the forest —maybe in this case, a cemetery— with berry bushes nearby. I honestly have no idea how to explain it but it’s honestly my favorite and I am obsessed. Not to mention the packaging and branding are stunning. They put a lot of care into each package and it shows.

I also used on my wrists and had no issues with my sensitive skin. I will recommend this to anyone who listens!
